Jewelry in professional sports
Wondering what kind of jewelry that the athlete is allowed to use on the ground? As a pitcher player can cause a Wedding Ring man on the mound? Or a hockey player allowed to wear a necklace? Here is a brief summary of what the athletes professionals are allowed to perform in the four major sports.
NHL
Since most bodies are covered with players on the ice (except neck and face) for his uniform, shoes, socks, gloves and helmet, the NHL has no rules regarding what kind of jewelry can be worn for match. As an elite Impact players are not allowed to use any type of Earrings or rings during the Games. As for necklaces, provided it does not seem out of the shirt are supported.
NFL
If there is a hyper sport is fundamental to what is a player on the field is the NFL (or, as some fans have dubbed the "No Fun League"). Not only can you fined for celebration excessively on the ground but to wear socks or shoes not sanctioned. And the rules from the moment someone visits the site before match practice all the way until they leave the stadium. The rules apply even during interviews after the game! Irony of fate, however, the NFL has no rules on this type of excessive jewelry can be used within the field. Since the hands are used primarily to catch and block, the rings are not generally used as they might affect the catch or throw a ball. Necklaces & Pendants, however, are used, provided they are within reasonable limits. Bracelets by Instead, they must be covered at all times. NBA
In recent years, the commissioner's office has begun to come down hard on players with a new NBA dress code that limits what a player can use before and after a game. This extends to the court where the NBA players are not allowed to use all types of jewelry. This means earrings, bracelets, rings and collars are all no-no. Are allowed on the ground are the knees and elbows, headbands and, of course, tattooing.
MLB
Major League Baseball, however, seems to have very liberal policy when it comes to jewelry. Essentially you can wear jewelry unless it is discussed by a judge of "distraction" or may interfere with the game In other words, pitchers can not wear rings, because this could scratch the ball and not a giant mirror necklaces that can be distracting to the mass of the ball (not that anyone thinks to wear it, but you get the idea.)
It seems that most of the sports are not permitted for jewelry, even mens wedding rings, and this is one guy to do? Keep the ring in a safe place until the game is finished!
