My friend is an obsessive shoplifter?
My bestfriend started stealing little things from Drug Stores such as packs of gum.
Progressively she started stealing makeup, hairbrushes, deodorant, hair skin and nails pills, and a whole bunch of other things.
Lately when we have gone to the mall together she has stolen jewelry from Macy’s and a ton of clothes from Urban Outfitters. She also stole a mirror from Armani because she was like “i need a mirror.”
She steals the stupidest things ever sometimes that she doesn’t even need and she just “feels like” taking. Sometimes she steals boxes of condoms and lube, so ridiculous to steal that kind of stuff. She thinks that she’ll never be caught and that if she is caught that nothing is going to happen to her because shes only 15.
Can someone please tell me from personal experiences or just knowledge what would happen if she was caught? Or how to tell her to stop.

then she’s even stupider than she already is for stealing.
Kids can go to juvie for shoplifting and will be banned from the store.
My friend got caught stealing top ramen in winco and is banned from there and if she ever goes into winco again she will be arrested and she is “only 14″.
Top ramen doesn’t sound like that big of a deal..now just think my friend will get arrested if she ever steps foot in winco again. And your friend steals things that are pointless to steal and she could get into huge trouble for stealing something so pointless to steal. would that really be worth stealing after getting in trouble?

She probably does have money and just thinks she’s a badass because she can steal and not get caught. You should tell her that it isn’t smart. and if she doesn’t care and continues to steal you shouldn’t try to help her anymore, let her learn the hard way because I garauntee she will soon get caught. And you should beware hanging out with her when she is in the act of stealing because you can get in trouble too if you are with her when she steals something even though you didn’t steal.
Just like if you are driving a car and your friend in the same car has drugs and you have no idea and you get pulled over and the cop finds your friend with drugs you will both be in trouble. it sucks but its life.
I’ve stolen a few things before in my life. Pointless cheap things to steal. And I wish I wouldn’t have stolen those things. Because when I think deep down inside I would hate if someone stole something of mine. Even as simple as a hair tie.
