About the Author
Fast Fix Jewelry Repair in the Baybrook Mall in Friendswood, Texas has been owned and operated by Sara Nielsen and her husband Robert for 20 years in the same location. Sara graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with an undergraduate and Masters degree in Education in 1983. She began her jewelry career in Columbia, Missouri at McAdams Ltd.; an antique jewelry store. While learning the antique jewelry business, she got her graduate gemology degree from the Gemological Institute of America.
In 1987 she moved to Los Angeles to work as a designer for Nova Stylings in their Van Lightner remount division. In 1988, Nova sent her to Houston to work with Robert in his Texas territory. Robert had been working this territory for eight years and was the longest running remount jeweler for the company.
Sara and Robert worked together for two years and decided in May of 1990 to leave Nova and open a Fast-Fix franchise kiosk at the Greenspoint Mall in north Houston. Next followed an inline store at the Baybrook Mall.
Ever since then, they have been working together changing watch batteries, repairing movements, setting diamonds, fixing jewelry and soldering rings.
After I got my watch battery replaced, my watch does not work?
I went to a jewelry shop local small businesses for changing the battery of my digital operation. I managed to see others and calculator batteries replaced there before. When I took my watch running last week, was "on" but is really in bad shape – you can not program, and only flashes. It worked perfectly well before the batteries ran out before they take him so I went to the store and explained the situation. They said they watch, and give me a quote for repairs if necessary. I do not think I would have to pay for repairs if they were evil inside the watch when you put the batteries in me said politely, and I said, basically, do not break it, so you must pay if you want to fix. I AGREE WITH Betty Boo … need report them … call the local Better Business Bureau Alos and report and see if anyone else has too .. they then give more fuel to the fire … I think it costs $ 25 and make a small claims court .. so I let them know that … and hold on .. if don'tcare I was $ 2 … if you have to work condtion and treated differently then that's their problem …. I mean it could have had someone working on something new that day .. or even a professional can have a bad day … but if you want a good reputation .. then a jewelry store offered to fix or replace it because we know that is not a Movado but again that is the point … then if that did not move not, call the office of Attorney General … have someone who can lead the right place and may even find it for you …. I would not let go out with it or go to the next person ….. what is going to say what was wrong with him and how it could have happened? .. Unfortunately, this lesson for next time in life when you get something repaired or buy something … record the receipt and make sure it works … good luck first
