- Please check your toon has the right spec for solo leveling. Killing 2-3 mobs at the time instead of only one it’s a big difference. This way anyone should be able to increase the XP gain and complete all quests at a faster rate.
- When questing, keep the quests 2-3 levels below the character’s level. You can finish green quests very easier than orange and the XP reward from the green quests is reduced just by a small amount. Completing green quests will make XP go much smoother.
- This step is always combination the quests, working on 3-4 at the same time. This is one of the most important parts in my leveling horde guide. All the quests are grouped to maximize the leveling time, in a nicely optimized quest path for Horde.
- As I refer above, you should not waste your money on gear, save up to get your mount as soon as your character is eligible for a certain riding skill. Having a mount, it’s like having a speed enhancement buff all the time and they really spice up the XP.
- Grouping with others for quests slows you down almost everytime. So, don’t to group with other gamers when doing quests and also to skip the hardest elite quests.

I’m doing Ahdarji’s Heirloom quest for the thieves guild, and when the countess goes to sleep her ring never appears in the jewelry box. She’s not even wearing it! If any body has any advice, it would be much appreciated. I’m not going to start my game allover again.
There is a bug in this quest that means you may find zero rings in the jewelry box, or at least not the ring that you are looking for. This can happen if you talk to the maid and then a guard and don’t talk to Ahdarji before opening the box. It also happens if you first talk to Hlidara Mothril to find out about the Countess taking off the ring at night, and then after that talk to Count Marius Caro who tells you to talk to Hlidara Mothril. It also seems to happen in other circumstances.
To fix it, you can just head outside the castle and wait for a couple of days or more, then go back in and the ring may appear in the jewelry box. You may need to try waiting multiple times, but it has been confirmed that this fix does eventually work.
Another possible fix is to kill someone who belongs in the quest like the Countess’s bodyguard. You will get a journal update that you have to pay the blood price. Pay the price and you will automatically complete the quest, even if you had no rings. However, this fix may not work for all players. There have been reports that the the option to pay the blood price may not show up in conversations with S’Krivva even after killing, for example, the Countess’s bodyguard.
