If you are a craftsman's hand jewelry industry, whether an amateur or a complete professional hit, there's a good chance you've been more than fair jewelry, fair or festival. Nothing brings new business opportunities and extra exposure as a good propaganda, the local program.
The question is: Are you showing your jewelry creations to their full potential?
Unfortunately, the hundreds of shows I've attended in recent years, answer to the question is mostly "no", with few exceptions. I think there are some very good reasons for that, and the main one is the ability to find a good sample Quality jewelry that not only fit the theme, but represent their jewelry as desirable.
Yes, any show, is absolutely trying to cause a buyer "impulse" buying reflection, and the best way is to do what any other business does with its product – that stand out. Then a brief list of tips and tricks to improve their goods on the next show you attend.
1. Determine how your jewelry is of its finest. In other words, deciding which screen colors that go well with her jewels. Do not be afraid to ask for a second or third opinion, because their vision could be contaminated (because it is her jewelry).
2. Once you have decided what kind of colors you want to work, whether black, white, vintage wood, rosewood, etc. .. you need to locate a supplier jewelry display quality with fair prices, wide selection, and timely delivery.
3. Think "layers." Any dealer reputable jeweler in any show throughout the world will have her jewelry very well organized in layers. DO NOT use your screens mostly flat. It's boring, and some programs even allow it. You'll be lucky to make a sale all day if you're laying jewels on the table.
4. Label your jewelry. For this, it means organizing the various sections (eg, Earrings quartz in one place, pending bills in another section) and create litte signs (think business card size) announcing that particular section and for what it is. You can get very creative with this, and even slip psychological causes in some shopping in your copy.
5. Again, keep everything organized and in the same general section. All in one place necklaces, bracelets in another, etc etc makes it much easier for your customers find what matters, and speeds up the operation.
6. If you have a web site, fan page Facebook, Twitter page, phone number, or whatever – show it! Make a few banners with full contact information, so if a customer like their goods, they will know how to order more and share the good news with your friends. This helps streamline the flow of "word of mouth", which is the gold standard in any business.
