Help with etched glass for DIY Christmas gift – engraved Crystal Jewelry box?
I am purchasing men's jewelry box as a gift and I really like to customize the glass top. I know there are paintings engraved, but I wonder if it's possible that I use because I do not know if I can remove the glass of the box (and therefore not be able to use tap water to clean the paint off). I can not imagine cleaning would be a good idea. Is this something I can make my own? Should I consider professionals anywhere?
I called for help in your local craft store. They should be able to show how, and what to use. Make sure the tape out what is not to be recorded in the middle. I would use blue painters tape.
