I love this guy but he’s overseas. We are supposed to be together, but i’m having doubts about this….
A few weeks ago i was on vacation for the new year and he calls me to ask me what my ring size is and what color jewelry i like (i.e. platnum, gold, silver, etc.). That came as a surprise. we have known eachother for 2 years and been together 6months. this is his third tour in iraq. well when they (the soldiers) are over there they get to come home in the middle of the tour for about 10-14 days. well he tells me that he had bad news and that he doesn’t know if he’s able to come home like he planned because of the shit that’s happening over there and that it was a long story (which he didn’t go into detail). the same day i find out that he sends this other girl (his best friend) an email saying that he had good news and that he would be home in 2 months for about 10days and that he was going to be sure and stop by to see her. we live in different states(her and i) . So what do you think i should do? Should I ask questions or leave it alone? Do you think it’s a “surprise”? i don’t know.
Hard to say, the truth of the human heart is that he’d love her more then you, she’s his best friend, your a romantic ideal. Typically you can’t get to close, nor to honest too someone your romantically envolved with, case in point. Lets say you were his best friend, then you’d beable to say “Hey buddy why did you tell “so and so” you’d be over there and diss me?” But instead your in a lame romantic situation were you can’t say that because you have to pretend everythings fine and perfect. So for the sack of your lackluster romantic relationship, just hope for a suprise……
